Session 7: Peace

What does it mean to truly experience peace, not just as a fleeting feeling but as a deep, unshakeable inner reality? Drawing from Philippians 4:1-9, we explore three powerful forces that quietly rob us of the peace God intends for us: animosity, anxiety, and apathy. Each one attacks from a different angle, yet each one has a God-given solution. We see how unresolved conflict between believers, like the well-known disagreement between Euodia and Syntyche in the Philippian church, can drain our spiritual energy and pull our focus away from the mission that matters most. The call is not to determine who is right, but to pursue reconciliation with humility, settling what we can and trusting God with what we cannot. Peace is not passive, it requires us to move toward one another in love, and sometimes to invite trusted, godly voices to help us get there.
