- Updated: Friday, January 22 -

Beginning on Sunday, January 24,
we will add back more on-campus, in-person activities.

Read below to learn about our plans to add more
in-person activities throughout the month of January...

Also, Wednesday Evening Activities will be starting back on Wednesday, February 3...
more details to come.

You may have seen that the Mississippi Department of Health has recently recommended that people not attend social gatherings, including in-person church, because of a recent spike in cases of COVID-19.

We want you to know where we stand on that recommendation.

Though we have great respect for our state officials and the tremendous work they are doing,
we will continue to meet for in-person worship on Sunday mornings.

***Beginning on Sunday, January 24,
we will add back more on-campus, in-person activities.***

This will include but not limited to Preschool, Kids, NextGen & Adult LifeGroups

and ages-specific worship services such as Kids Worship.

Middle School Worship (Wednesdays at 6 PM) and High School Worship (Sundays at 5 PM)
will also be back at their normal times.

Please remember to watch your email, text messages, social media, and our website for
updates as new information is released.

We believe church services and biblical community are essential, and therefore we have decided to continue to meet. We also understand these are unprecedented times and do want to encourage you to take extra precautions:

1. We ask you to use your best judgment about whether or not you should attend in-person services at this time. Some of you have good reasons to stay home right now and if that is you, we want you to do so. However, we encourage you to worship with your church family online at live.crossgates.org from your computer or smart device or through the Crossgates App.

2. When you are on campus, you are required to wear a mask and socially distance yourself from others. The church doors will open at 8:30 AM in order to help with this.  You should make your way to the Worship Center, where you will be seated with your family unit. We also ask that you remain seated with your mask on until the Worship Service begins.

The Worship Center will be at limited capacity to adhere to Social Distancing standards from the CDC.
Because of this, The Venue will be open for an overflow to the Worship Center if we reach full capacity.

3. As an additional measure, we’ve added a designated area in the Fellowship Hall where masks will be worn at all times during both the 9 AM & 10:30 AM service times. Those who want even more space as they worship with us can sit in our Fellowship Hall individually or as a family unit. Each table has 3 seats. There are approximately 20 tables within this spacious area for you to view the Worship Service while being on-campus.

4. Lastly, both our 9 AM & 10:30 AM Sunday Worship Services are streamed online for you to engage with your church family if you are not here in person. We also stream the Sunday PM Service, called After the Message, live each Sunday evening at 6 PM.  Wednesday Night Bible Study continues to be streamed at 6 PM as well. We believe online services for our preschoolers and kids are also important so we provide both Preschool & Kids Worship On Demand services weekly on our website and Apps. You can join us live or on demand by clicking the links below for any of these service times mentioned above.

As you can see, we’re making multiple efforts to provide alternative and safe opportunities for you and your family to worship and stay connected. We hope you take advantage of these opportunities that are available to you
from Crossgates.

Thank you for everything you have done during this season we have all been in together! We are praying that we will be on the other side of this pandemic soon and look forward to the day when we can gather in the way in which we are accustomed. In the meantime, we are taking extra steps to make sure the church is clean while you are here and even when you are not here. We are constantly evaluating what safety measures we need to take and will make changes as needed. In the meantime, pray that we can continue to carry the transforming love of Jesus to every longing heart!

Please let us know if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
We’re listening. God bless and we look forward to worshipping with you on campus or online this Sunday.

Executive Pastor
Crossgates Baptist Church

Preschool Activities will be available for 3s and under starting on December 6 as well.
(Masks will be required for children ages 2 and above.)
We will also have our Kids Worship and Preschool JAM available to stream at crossgates.org or on our Mobile & TV Apps.

Middle School, High School, & College/Young Adults Worship Services are meeting for worship at their normal times.
Please check NextGen Social Media and Text for Weekly Updates.

We want to encourage all of our LifeGroups to meet over Zoom. This way, we can continue to stay connected, share God’s word with one another, and pray together. Even though we cannot share the same space, this way we can share our burdens and lift each other up! For some of you this may be new, but for many of us, this is what we all experienced earlier this year. We pray you’ll jump in with enthusiasm, seeing how you can minister to others.

If you are new to Crossgates and have never joined a life group, there’s no time like the present to join.

We would love to provide you with a zoom link where you can connect with the leader and their group!

And to all our church…we praise God for His faithfulness our continued unity, and we thank you for your continued willingness to be a part of protecting our church family here at Crossgates.

Thank you for your patience and prayers as we continue to make the best decisions for the safety and well-being of our church members and staff.

As we move forward, we will continue to update our schedule. In order to receive these updates, join our text info system by texting CGINFO to 601-825-2562.
