DAY TEN
God’s Promise:
I will transform you and reveal my will to you.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. - Romans 12:2 (NLT)
Our minds are constantly being pressed and molded into following one of two wills. The world is attempting to conform your mind to follow the will of Satan, the god of this world, and God is desiring to transform your mind to know and follow His will.
The better we recognize the source, the better we understand the goal. The world wants to manipulate and control the way we act, dress, think, and live, passing it off as freedom while secretly placing us in deeper bondage. Conforming to this world always leads to corruption by this world.
The Lord promises to give us a good, pleasing, and perfect life if we will allow Him to transform our thinking. Through worship, time in His Word, fellowship with other believers, and prayer, the Lord promises to change us into the people we were created to become.
Action Step:
I will live according to God’s mind. I will allow God to change me, causing me look less and less like the world, so I can fulfill his perfect plans for me.
