5. How Do I Share my Faith?
There are many ways to share your faith. An easy and memorable way is summarized below:

- Step-In a conversation with people.
Look for ways to talk with people in your circles of influences (family, neighbors, coworkers, etc.) and in your daily circumstances (grocery store, restaurants, etc.). Being friendly, meeting needs, and showing genuine concern for others is a good starting point for having conversations. - Step-Over to spiritual things.
Consider some of these questions to help you as you take your conversation from ordinary things to spiritual things: How can I pray for you? What is your religious background? Do you ever think about spiritual things? Use the God’s Story – My Story – Your Story content as a way to have spiritual dialogue. - Invite people to take a Step-Closer to God.
Our role is to share with others and leave the rest to God. So based on your conversation, invite people to take a step closer to God. It will likely take several conversations before someone is ready to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Spiritual Content – The following God’s Story – My Story – Your Story is an easy way for you to engage people spiritually where they are. Any story can be a starting point for dialogue and lead into the other stories . This way of dialogue that is natural and easy to continue over several conversations with someone.
- God’s Story: Creation, Fall, Restoration
God created the world good. The first people fell. They sinned and disobeyed God allowing sin and brokenness to enter the world. God made a way for us to be forgiven of our sin by trusting in Jesus death and resurrection on our behalf. When we receive salvation we enter in a relationship with God where he renews us reserves us a place in heaven where one day all things be restored. - My Story: Before Christ, Salvation, After Christ
Sharing your own testimony can be very powerful. Share your life before Christ as a way to relate to others. Share how God drew you to himself and what circumstances led to you making a decision to put your faith in Christ. Share how your relationship with Christ has given you new meaning and purpose. Share about your trials and victories as well and how Christ has been with you in the midst of both. - Your Story: Difficulty, Determination, Destiny
Listening to others to learn their story is a great way to find out how to point them toward Christ. Some people may have encountered difficulty in their life that has clouded their view of God. Others may be so determined in their pursuit of happiness that they don’t think often on spiritual matters. Others may be confused about their eternal destiny. Asking questions is a great way to find out the spiritual needs of others or to help others consider spiritual matters.
