Sunday Morning Message - "Faith, Opposition, and the Fight for God's Work"

In this message from September 20, Pastor Kyle is in Chapter 4 of Nehemiah where the unavoidable reality that when God's people get serious about doing His work, opposition will follow. Pastor Kyle walked us through the resistance Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem faced as they rebuilt the wall — ridicule, intimidation, exhaustion, and fear — and showed us that these are not signs that we are doing something wrong. They are often signs that we are doing something right. The enemy does not bother with those who are standing still. The moment we step toward obedience, the fight begins. But Nehemiah modeled for us a way to stand firm: bring the battle to God in prayer, make up your mind to keep working, and remember who you are fighting alongside and what you are fighting for.
