Why do we give?
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
Because of your generous giving, Crossgates Church is reaching the world with the truth of God’s Word. Together, we’re providing life-giving ministries, serving our local communities, and leading global outreach efforts to transform lives within our church and beyond.

Giving FAQs
Here are a few of some of the most frequent questions we receive about giving at Crossgates.
Are there other options for giving?
Your giving falls into two categories: charitable cash and asset-based contributions. Charitable cash includes cash, check, or debit card donations. Asset-based contributions are noncash and include stocks & mutual funds, charitable gift annuities (CGAs), or real estate.
What if I change banks or want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?
You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime including the bank routing number, account number, date, fund, frequency and amount. These changes will need to be made under the username that originally created the schedule. If you need help with this, we are more than happy to help you with this process. Please call 601-825-2562 and ask to speak with Kathy Wolfe.
I received an email stating that my contribution didn’t go through.
What do I do?
When transactions don’t go through, it is usually because of a typo. So try it again and double check your routing, account numbers, and credit/debit card information.
Is online giving secure?
We’ve taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for “Secure Socket Layer,†a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.
