DAY FIVE
God’s Promise:
I will be found if you seek me wholeheartedly.
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. - Jeremiah 29:13 (NLT)
One of the greatest qualities we can be gifted with is passion. Passion is the spark needed to drive us to our goals, help us exceed those goals, and journey to those goals with excellence. When something is sought after passionately it is naturally being sought after wholeheartedly.
Think for a moment about something in your life that you are passionate about. It could be anything. Now think about the time and effort required of that passion. No matter the time or energy needed, your pursuit seems enjoyable and effortless because of your passion. The reason for this is because your passions have your heart.
The God of the universe doesn’t want your time nor your money – He wants you. He has created you to know Him. Think about this amazing reality: the infinitely righteous, holy, and eternal God of the universe echoes a promise that remains true for you today.
God is waiting to be found by you. Would you be willing to untether your heart from every other pursuit and pursue God wholeheartedly? Go after Him with all your heart and watch how God reveals Himself over the course of a long and beautiful relationship with Him!
