TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
•As a NextGen Host, you will check-in, greet, and host guests on Wednesday nights at events like UNITED, Middle School Bible Study, and High School Bible Study.
•Our goal is for each student to be actively engaged as they arrive to create a welcoming and lively atmosphere.
TEAM EXPECTATIONS:
•Worship. Regularly attend and actively engage in our church-wide worship services, and commit to grow as a Christian in all facets of life.
•Prepare in prayer. Every NextGen activity could be someone’s first. Pray for opportunities to welcome them into the Crossgates family.
•Serve when scheduled and communicate to your team leader when you need a replacement.
•Be on time.
•Dress appropriately. Dress in a manner that would honor Christ and not distract others or cause them to stumble.
•Serve with passion, commitment, and excellence. Focus on guests, be aware of students who need connection, and limit lengthy personal conversations.
•Communicate. If you need a break, feel burnt out, or are just going through a busy season, let us know! We’d love to pray with you and for you in any way we can.
