TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
•One of the major roles of a Connect Crew member is to lead our students by example during our Wednesday Night Services. By sitting with the students, setting the example primarily happens by engaging in worship and actively listening to the teaching.
•Our goal for the Connect Crew is to intentionally connect students into our ministry by cultivating relationships, praying with students, and connecting guests to student leaders.
TEAM EXPECTATIONS:
•Worship. Regularly attend and actively engage in our church-wide worship services, and commit to grow as a Christian in all facets of life.
•Prepare in prayer. Each week, students come to Wednesday night services carrying different burdens. Prepare in prayer and come ready for ministry opportunities.
•Serve when scheduled and communicate to your team leader when you need a replacement.
•Be on time. It is important to arrive 15 minutes early to connect with familiar students and grab your seat with them.
•Dress appropriately. Dress in a manner that would honor Christ and not distract others or cause them to stumble.
•Serve with passion, commitment, and excellence. Guide students with how to worship and study God’s Word, be aware of students who need help focusing, and seek to spiritually encourage students.
