Special Lord's Supper Information from Bro. David

On Thursday, April 9, at 6:30 PM, as we take the Lord’s Supper together as a church family, we are entering into the finished work of Jesus on the Cross
and in the Resurrection…As such, we are opening ourselves to the treasure of God’s blessings!

EXAMINE & PRAY
Before we take the Lord's Supper together on Thursday, take a moment to allow the Holy Spirit to show you any sin in your life and ask Jesus for forgiveness.
Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 1 Corinthians 11:28 (NIV)

A LETTER TO PARENTS ABOUT

THE LORD‘S SUPPER

This week we are providing you an opportunity to talk to your kids about the Gospel! This means you should definitely invite your believing children to take part in it and your unbelieving children to witness what is happening. Let’s invite them to be a part!
Without even leaving your home, this is an amazing way to discuss several key tenets of your faith with your children. The most important moment you’re given in the Lord’s Supper is the explanation of the elements! You have a chance, through the gracious gift of this picture of the supper, to explain to your young children how the body of Jesus was broken for them. You have an incredible opportunity to explain how Jesus bled and died and received the punishment for sin (death) in their place as a substitute.

Read over Matthew 26 to help you prepare for conversations about the Lord’s Supper.

Be patient and be encouraged that God can use this conversation for His glory no matter how you feel it goes; there is no pressure for this moment to be perfect.
