“Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” Proverbs 11:14
TEAM RESPONSIBILITES:
•Through the sharing of experiences, these believers would be willing to offer support, encouragement, and comfort through prayer and discipleship to those in counseling based on the circumstances they are facing. (Men will walk with men and women walk with women through this process.)
TEAM EXPECTATIONS:
•Maintain intentional relationships. Be willing to develop relationship with those hurting for the purpose of seeing them set free and healed.
•Communicate. Keep the counselor updated on progress and other issues that come up.
•Attend training sessions as the counselor deems necessary for ongoing success.
•Confidentiality. We expect that each person would respect and maintain the confidentiality of any individual(s) you would minister to.
