TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead college students and young adults in worship during Thursday night services and various College and 20’s special events.
•Use your musical talents to create a distraction-free worship environment for people to respond to the Word of God.
•Represent Crossgates in outside ministry opportunities.
TEAM EXPECTATIONS:
•Worship. Regularly attend and actively engage in our church-wide and NextGen worship services, and commit to grow as a Christian in all facets of life.
•Prepare spiritually and mentally. Be ready to sing/play your specific parts when you show up to serve. Spend time in personal worship, prayer, and God’s Word to prepare your heart to lead.
•Serve when scheduled. If you are unable to serve the week you are scheduled for, decline on Planning Center as soon as you can and let the team leader know.
•Be on time.
•Serve with passion, commitment, and excellence. Strive for excellence in your craft and your character. Remain teachable as you learn and grow.
•Communicate. If you need a break or feel burnt out or are just going through a busy season, let us know! We’d love to pray with you and for you in any way we can.
