TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Partner with the worship team to produce a Thursday night service in your assigned role of ProPresenter, Audio, Video, or Lighting.
•Be engaged in worship and preaching through the role that you have.
TEAM EXPECTATIONS:
•Worship. Even as a volunteer, we encourage you to worship through what you are doing and to follow the Holy Spirit when He is leading you to respond.
•Prepare in prayer. Every Thursday night could be someone’s first. Pray for opportunities to welcome them into the Crossgates family.
•Serve when scheduled. If you are unable to serve the week you are scheduled for, decline on Planning Center as soon as you can and let the team leader know.
•Be on time and be flexible. Consistently arrive at your position on time based on the Planning Center schedule or times specified by team leaders. Things can and will change; be able to go with the flow when necessary.
•Dress appropriately. Dress in a manner that would honor Christ and not distract others or cause them to stumble.
•Lead and serve with passion, commitment, and excellence. It is vital to serve in a way that is both glorifying to the Lord and encouraging to our people; you must be familiar with the flow of service.
•Communicate. If you need a break or feel burnt out or are just going through a busy season, let us know! We’d love to pray with you and for you in any way we can.
