TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Instruct and disciple those in College & 20’s how to cultivate a personal walk with God.
•Facilitate accountability on a very intentional level through consistent contact.
•Meets outside of regularly scheduled church events.
TEAM EXPECTATIONS:
•Worship. Regularly attend and actively engage in our church-wide Worship services, and commit to grow as a Christian in all facets of life.
•Live above reproach. Mentors are called to live a life above reproach and actively seek spiritual accountability and discipleship.
•Prepare in prayer. Mentors should live a life covered in prayer. Specifically and regularly pray for their group.
•Be on time. Consistency is key in leading a group. Faithfulness is shown in our teaching and our attendance. Consistency brings opportunity for future ministry.
•Dress appropriately. Our goal is to make much of Jesus, not ourselves. Lift high Jesus in our meeting times and do your best to prevent distractions from leading us away from a pure devotion to Jesus. Dress in a manner that would honor Christ and not distract others or cause them to stumble.
•Serve with passion, commitment, and excellence. Commit to teach the Word of God with your whole heart and practically with your whole mind. Maintain integrity and holiness on a personal level that can be imitated by those following you. It is vital to serve in a way that is both glorifying to the Lord and encouraging to our people.
