The School of Worship Arts (SWA) is a branch of Crossgates Baptist Church. The school offers private and group lessons taught by qualified Christian instructors in many areas of the worship arts.
It is our goal to enhance the development of artistic skills in order that they may be used to honor and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ. Private instruction is scheduled through individual instructors. We would love to talk with you about becoming a part.
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION AVAILABLE
- Guitar (1st grade through adult) – Barry Hause, instructor
- Flute (6th grade through adult) – Jennifer Walker, instructor
- Piano (1st grade through adult) – Bill Barnes, Gloria Barnes, Glo Townsend, Jennifer Walker, instructors
- Voice (1st grade through adult) – Bill Barnes, Gloria Barnes, instructors
We are happy to have Margot Truelson join us in the Dance School. She is a 2nd year trainee with Ballet Magnificat! of Jackson. Margot is from Dallas, TX where she trained at the Dallas Ballet Center. She attended Texas A&M before coming to join the Ballet Magnificat! school. Margot will teach Ballet I, Ballet II, and Ballet III.

Pre Ballet (age 6) - Tuesday 3:30-4:20 pm
Ballet I (age 7-8) - Tuesday 4:30-5:20 pm
Ballet II (age 9-12) - Tuesday 5:30-6:30 & Thursday 4:30-5:30
Ballet III (age 13+) - Tuesday 6:30-7:30 pm & Thursday 4:30-5:30 pm
Jazz/Hip Hop (age 9-12) - Tuesday 4:30-5:20 pm - Morgan Robertson, instructor
Jazz/Hip Hop (age 13+) - Tuesday 5:30-6:30 pm - Morgan Robertson, instructor
Adult Beginner Ballet (Ladies ages 18+) - Thursday 5:30-6:30 pm
The Price structure for the 2013 Fall Semester for Dance Classes is below:
1 class a week: 1 child enrolled- $30/month 2 or more children enrolled- $25/month
2 classes a week: 1 child enrolled – $45/month 2 or more children enrolled- $40/month
3 classes week: 1 child enrolled- $60/month 2 or more children enrolled- $55/month
*Prices are per child, per month.
