Preschool Ministry
Nothing is more important than laying a strong spiritual foundation in the early childhood years as children form their values, morals and personalities.
It is our desire to create an atmosphere where your child will learn about God, Jesus, the Bible, creation and God’s plan for him and his family. Therefore, we are committed to providing a place where your child will feel loved, safe and secure.
In the Preschool Ministry at Crossgates, we believe the same love, promise and hope which God made real through Jesus Christ can live within the heart of every child. We would love the privilege of caring for and teaching your preschooler about Jesus’ love for him. Sunday Morning Bible Study
It is our goal to partner with parents to build a foundation of faith in our preschoolers. Sunday morning Bible Study is a time when the Bible is brought to life and taught to our children. Classes are available for newborns through Kindergarten age and begin at 8:00, 9:15 and 11:00 AM for each age group. Rooms open 15 minutes prior to each service. Please stop by the Preschool Welcome Center. We would love to meet you and and help your preschooler find his or her classroom!
Childcare at Crossgates
Childcare is provided at Crossgates to allow parents the freedom to attend worship services while leaving their children in a secure, nurturing environment. Childcare is available for children ages newborn through three years old. Our experienced childcare staff provides activities that are appropriate for each age group. Multiple security measures are in place to ensure protection for all children and staff.
TeamKID
TeamKID is a fast-action, team-oriented, exciting approach to teaching children about God and His plans for them. This curriculum encompasses music, art, Bible lessons, and recreation. TeamKID is available Wednesday nights, May 25 through August 3 from 5:45-7:15 PM and is open for children currently in a 3, 4, or 5 year old class. (birthdates September 2004 – August 2007). Come by the Preschool Welcome Center to register your preschooler.
First Contact
Through First Contact, friendship and prayer support is available for expectant moms in our membership. Expectant moms are paired with another woman from the First Contact team, who has a heart to minister during this very special time.
KINGSINGERS

KingSingers is a place where your child can begin a lifetime of worship and praise to our Lord. This children’s choir ministry includes a variety of movement, games, instrument fun, great songs and worship training. KingSingers sing several times throughout the year, including a musical in the spring by the older children. Age-graded choirs for 3 year-olds* through 5th grade meet each Wednesday during the school year from 6:00-7:05 pm.
(*Must be 3 years old before September 1 of that school year)
