My sister-in-law’s young nephew, Joseph, was in a horrible car accident early this morning and is not doing well, having brain hemorrhages. Please pray for bleeding to stop, for swelling to subside, for no permanent damage, and for the family to find God in this ordeal.

Dear Pastor David,
Richard and I are in Glen Allen ,Va watching our daughter’s children ages 3 and 5. We also have a Son Thomas age 45. After 2 tours to Iraq and Afganistan he just retired from the Navy after 24 years of service. He is married to Carrie Reed,she is age 44 . They live in Jacksonville, NC. We received the news that Carrie had a tumor in the sinus area. We Received the report that it is stage 4 Cancer. The doctors scheduled several appointment on Wednesday for more testing and will present the results to the cancer board to study what immediate treatments and operation is necessary. Unfortunately the cancer settled close to her brain. I sincerely ask for prayers for Carrie, Thomas Reitano and her son Zack.Please place me on your prayer list. I just lost my father and I’m not as strong as I thought I would be. We will be back in Jackson within 8 to 10 days. Thank you for your prayers for Thomas and Carrie Reitano and our family.

Update on Emily Tingle* From her mom, Shelley: Several people have requested an update so here goes…
After lots of testing, Batson is working with Mayo Clinic and they remain “baffled”. Tests do reveal a possible blood disorder or liver disorder…but many more tests have to be run and re-run and this is only a possibility. From now until the first week of May, we will continue to check into Batson at least once a week for testing. Her body still remains blue (some days better than others). Since turning blue she has lost a significant amount of weight (but no weight loss in the last week) and is extremely fatigued (sleeping all the time). She has some pain as well but has remained very positive! I’m so proud of her for not being overly concerned about her skin/body being blue…she is taking everything in stride and keeps smiling. Please keep her in your prayers and continue to keep her on your church’s prayer list
