About Love Worth Fighting For

The Bible repeatedly uses “father,” “husband,” “bride” and “child” analogies to demonstrate God’s relationship with the church and his followers. There is no better example of the unconditional love God has for us than what we are instructed to have for our spouse and children. Building upon these themes, Love Worth Fighting For is a marriage event, featuring teaching by Kirk Cameron and music by Warren Barfield, designed to strengthen and encourage your marriage.

Pearl Day will be held at the Pearl City Park on Saturday, May 19, 2012 beginning at 10 am.
Come bring the whole family as Crossgates will sponsor the FAMILY FUN ZONE from 10 am – 6 pm with inflatables, crafts, Family Photos, and much, much more!
Then, at 4 pm, you are invited to the big stage as the Crossgates Worship Choir, Orchestra, Band/Praise Team, and Student Dancers lift up Praise to Jesus with Praise and Worship in the Park!

Amazing Wonders Aviation-Encountering God’s Awesome Power!
Mark your calendars for June 4-8 and join us from 9 am until noon!
When you were a kid, did you ever discover an old trunk or box filled with memorabilia from another era? Did your imagination start to soar? What if that box was filled with an old bomber jacket, a pilot camp and goggles, old flight logs, photos for the inside of a 1930s airplane cockpit, and a journal filled with exciting stories and amazing facts? Maybe the pilot flew all over the world and was able to visit some of the most spectacular natural wonders. Then, it hits you! Those natural wonders are just as breathtaking and amazing today as they were generations ago….and so is the One who created them.

Amazing Wonders Avaition begins at an aviation airstrip. Kids will take off each day and fly to some of the worlds greatest natural wonders as they encounter an awesome God and His amazing power.

Each day kids will stop in at the Bible Study at Victoria Falls. This giant wall of water in Africa is also known as “The Smoke That Thunders.” In this awe inspiring setting, kids will explore the Bible and discover more about our Awesome God and His amazing power over nature, circumstances, sin, death, and life itself.

The journey continues each day as kids travel to learn about Missions under the Northern Lights and create Crafts at the Great Barrier Reef.

Looking for a Life Group? Need a place to plug in? Come to Starting Point! This 4-week class is for those who are not currently plugged into a LifeGroup and looking to find a good fit.

Join us at 11 am on Sunday, June 3 – Sunday, June 24 in F218.

We will find a Life Group that is a good fit for you to plug in to and grow in your walk with Christ!

We are setting sail on January 12-17, 2013. We will be departing out of New Orleans and ports of call will be Progreso and Cozumel, Mexico.

His Love Freedom Classes

His Love is a ministry at Crossgates that creates the environment for the church to care for one another. HIS Love is based on the value of having someone who knows exactly where you are by sharing in the suffering of the same storms God has brought them through.

How does HIS Love work?
As HIS Love receives the situational, emotional, and spiritual needs within our church body, a team member will be paired with those in need. Together they will walk through the common ground to God’s breakthrough of healing and restoration.
“…comforting others with the comfort through which we have been comforted.” 2 Corinthians 1:4

Sexual Purity
Overcoming the hurts & wounds of pornography,
adultery & other sexual impurities. Meets from
6:30 pm in F217. Led by Mack & Gloria Amacker.

Living Free – Alcohol/Chemical Dependency
Small group support for those dealing with
freedom from alcohol and drugs. Meets from
6:30 pm in F218. Led by Stephen Strong &
Ray Corbin.

Freedom & Power: A Post-Abortive Bible Study
Healing for those dealing with the effects of abortion. Meets at 4 pm in F208. Led by Ashley Sigrest.

Grief Support: Ministry for those Walking through Death or Divorce
Meets at 4 pm in F207.

God’s Threshing Floor: Moving from Fruitful to Useful
A study designed to learn the true cost of what it means to walk in the Spirit, in purity, in brokeness, and in
